Tim Sheets – Lead Pastor
Pastor Tim brings a sincere passion and deep love for preaching and teaching God’s Word. Tim’s life has been forever changed due to an encounter with Jesus the Messiah in the 7th grade. It is Tim’s calling to proclaim and lead others to this promised Messiah and Savior. A B.S. degree in Christian Ministries from Indiana Wesleyan University and a M.A. degree in Discipling Ministries from Huntington University have given Tim a solid biblical foundation to work from.
Tim is married to his best friend, Trina, and they have 3 energetic kids. Tim enjoys spending time with his family, reading, fishing, playing soccer, jamming on the guitar, and drinking coffee. A favorite verse that helps Tim keep things in proper perspective is Matthew 6:33, But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Caroline Burch – Family Life/Visitation Pastor
Family Life and Visitation Pastor, Caroline Burch, is passionate about partnering with parents as they seek to disciple their children in the Lord. She grew up in the church, watching her parents serve in different areas. Their example and love for Jesus and His Church has profoundly shaped her faith and ministry. This has made her realize what an important role parents play in shaping their children’s faith.
Caroline is married to Isaac Burch and has a baby son. She and her husband love the outdoors-hiking, wildlife watching, looking at weird mushrooms and fungus. They also enjoy reading, movie watching, eating good food (especially sushi!). Caroline makes jewelry, dabbles in knitting, sewing, and other arts and crafts. They are excited to introduce their son Benjamin to their many hobbies. Caroline graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Children’s Ministry from Olivet Nazarene University and just recently received her Master’s in Family Ministry from the same.
Dan Peterson – Worship/Assimilation Pastor
Pastor Dan brings 30 plus years of leading worship to Elkhart Northside. He believes music ministry is all about an audience of One. Whatever we sing on Sunday mornings must first focus on God and then, through that obedience, bless us. We’re here for God’s worship, not our own edification.
Dan is married to Linda and he’s a confirmed NextGen Trekkie with a preference for superhero movies and mystery novels. For about nine months a year, you can usually find him sitting next to his pond or wading with his grandkids while ‘walking’ the fish.
